Announcements


The Journal of Policy History announces two new prizes in honor of three of the founding members of its editorial board. These prizes will be offered in alternating years. Each award carries an honorarium of $250.00.

The Ellis Hawley Prize will be awarded to a junior scholar (untenured professor or graduate student) for the best JPH article published during the preceding two years. The first Hawley Prize will be announced in 1995.

The Robert Kelley and Aaron Wildavsky Memorial Prize will be awarded to the author of the best JPH article written by a senior scholar and appearing during the preceding two years. It will be given for the first time in 1996.
